阿甘因戰功顯赫而受到總統接見。這，是導演為我們精心準備的一幕喜劇。但我，卻依然不會為此而覺得誇張又或是可笑。也許，曾經，有的人常常會感覺到生活的負擔過重，舊因為面前的困難重重，而整天垂頭喪氣、鬱鬱寡歡。阿甘呢，信念是這樣的單純，目標又是這樣的.清晰，即使先天不足，甚至是面前有窮山惡水，可愛的阿甘也絕對能夠以一顆絕對平常的心視之，並最終一一跨過。這，絕不是僅僅用“愚人之福”就可以解釋的。所以，我寧願相信，只有保持阿甘這種生活態度和堅強意志的人，信念才是能夠減輕自己許多關於生命的又或是別的之類的重負，從而達到生命之巔、獲得自己最終的輝煌。
阿甘一生中只有一種愛支撐人生，那就是母愛;阿甘一生只愛一個女孩珍妮，除此他永遠心如止水;他可以為了紀念死去的戰友巴布，而幹起自己並不熟悉的捕蝦業(僅僅是由於巴布的一句話)……
在生命的每一個階段，阿甘的心中只有一個目標在指引著他，他也只為此而踏實地、不懈地、堅定地奮鬥，直到這一目標的完成，又或是新的目標的出現。沒有單純的抉擇就不會沒有心靈的雜念;而沒有心靈雜念的人，大概才能夠在人生中舉重苦輕。
阿甘的一生的確出現了許多奇蹟，但，這些奇蹟沒有、也絕不可能會引導我去羨慕他。大概，我會的，只有去欣賞與阿甘在一起的那些歲月、生命和歷史，體味其中的苦與甜，甚至，期待者“跨越缺陷，完美人生”……
