農曆的七月十五日是什麼日子？
聽說是傳說中的“鬼節”咩，小編對這還真的不太瞭解。上網查了相關的資料，一副“原來還有這麼一說啊”的感覺……罪過。
首先，咱來看維基百科中的一段介紹：
In Chinese tradition, the fifteenth day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar is called Ghost Day and the seventh month in general is regarded as the Ghost Month, in which ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower realm。
原來，整個七月都被稱作“鬼月”。七月初一是“鬼門關”大開的日子，從七月初一鬼門關開啟起，到三十日鬼門關關閉這段日子裡，陰間的無主孤魂都會湧到陽間，徘徊於任何人跡可到的`地方找東西吃。因此，“鬼節”不僅可以被叫做“Ghost Day”，也常被稱為“Hungry Ghost Festival”。
而每年農曆的七月十五日(南方為十四日)便是民間常說的“鬼節”了。這其實也是道家所說的“中元節”(Zhong Yuan Festival)，以及佛教中的“盂蘭盆節”(Yulan Pot Festival)。
那麼“鬼節”這一天有什麼習俗呢?
這一天的主要活動就是放河燈(Floating River Lanterns)了。
As a rule, there is a Yulan Pot Fair on the day of the Zhong Yuan Festival. People put on performances such as the yang ge dance, the lion dance and other acrobatic shows. When evening comes, people float lit lanterns along the rivers. This practice is called "floating river lanterns"。
在這一天，家家戶戶放河燈，以期在人間接續銀河之路，迎接先人英靈。也正是因為如此，“中元節”才被稱為“鬼節”。
中元節/盂蘭盆節，稀裡糊塗成“鬼節”，真正含義是啥?
中元節是本土文化的產物。傳統中國一直以農耕為本，在大量的生產生活實踐中，先人們發現萬物之間存在著某種因果關係：一個果實的成熟，最終離不開種子的恩惠，所以，果實對種子，後人對先人，必須常懷一份感恩之情。中元節就是這樣的一個節日，它表達的就是感恩(thanksgiving)。
而盂蘭盆節，講的是目蓮在陰間看到去世的母親受餓鬼糾纏，無法進食，便向佛祖求救，佛祖感其孝心，授予《盂蘭盆經》，許其每年七月十五日設素筵供母享用，以後傳承開來，遂成“盂蘭盆節”的傳統。因此，盂蘭盆節強調的其實是“孝道”(filial piety)。
