年三十早上我們要把去年所有的春聯和福字都撕下來，貼上新買的，這叫除舊迎新。晚上，一家人圍在一起吃團年飯，在外打工的人也要會到家裡，團年飯裡會有很多菜餚，還有飯要多煮一些，留下一寫剩飯過年，這樣寓意年年有餘，每年都有吃不完的飯。
年三十晚就是舊年的最後一個晚上，所有人都要守歲，不能睡覺除了小孩和老人，守到新年到來。早上我們一家大小就要去走親戚，到親戚家裡拜年，當然親戚來會來我家所以就要安排幾天去親戚家，還要有幾天要待在家裡招待親戚朋友，春節之後還有元宵節，元宵節的主角就是湯圓了，湯圓意味著團團圓圓。
春節代表了中國悠久的歷史文化和豐富民風民俗，春節在中國人的心中有著不可缺少的地位。

我們家鄉春節別有一番風味，從春節前幾天到正月十五，每天都很精彩。

正月初一的早上家家都要吃餃子，餃子也叫“元寶”預示著招財進寶。街道也不像以前那樣人來人往，車水馬龍但不時從門縫裡飄出的飯菜香味和人們的歡聲笑語訴說著人們的幸福美滿。
正月初二要給自己的長輩和親戚拜年，去時一般會帶上一些禮品，表達祝福之意。
正月十五元宵節又是家鄉春節期間的一個重要節日，家家都要吃元宵。吃元宵表示我們大家團團圓圓，和和美美。
家鄉的春節是快樂的，最快樂的也是我們小孩子了。我們可以拿到許多的壓歲錢，又不用做作業，還能自由自在的放鞭炮，每一聲震耳欲聾的鞭炮聲，都伴隨著我們的歡笑。
