聖誕節傳統歌曲《平安夜》雙語簡介
this carol was written in 1818, in the tyrolean village of hallein, by the local church organist franz gruber and a schoolmaster called joseph mohr. this resulted in one of the most popular of all carols.
1818年在奧地利一個名叫奧本多夫的小鎮上住著一個默默無聞的鄉村神父——摩爾。這年聖誕節，摩爾發現教堂裡的管風琴被老鼠咬壞了，修理已經來不及了。怎麼慶祝聖誕呢?摩爾為此悶悶不樂。他忽然想起《路加福音》裡記載著，耶穌降生時，天使向白冷郊外的.牧羊人報佳音後，高唱頌歌："天主受享榮福於天，良人受享太平於地。"他靈機一動，根據這兩句經文寫成一首讚美詩，取名《平安夜》。摩爾寫好歌詞後拿給本鎮小學教師葛路伯看，請他譜曲。葛路伯讀完歌詞很受感動，譜好曲，第二天在教堂裡演唱，大受歡迎。
後來有兩個商人路過這裡，學會了這首歌，他們為普魯士國王威廉四世演唱，威廉四世聽後大加讚賞，下令把《平安夜》定為全國教堂過聖誕節時必唱的歌曲之一。於是，這首不朽的作品一直傳唱至今。
