學生：Thanks!
教授：我注意到你用了三年時間完成碩士。##$$%%(聽不懂)
學生：在中國通常是這樣的。
教授：你研究生階段學了幾門課?
學生：十門左右。比如：***，****等。
教授：Good. 我看到你有一門課是%% and ##，是著重於%%還是##?
學生：著重於##，因為%%在本科也學過。(教授是重點研究##的。)
教授：Good. 你做過*****研究嗎?
學生：是的.。這項研究……
學生：我從網頁上了解到你的研究方向是******，很理論化，難道不和實驗相結合嗎?
教授：***###%%%(大段的論述，基本搞不清在說什麼，大概是說所謂的“理論”是什麼意思。當然還有做實
驗。)
教授：你學過計算機方面的課嗎?
學生：挺多的。有軟體、硬體、作業系統、離散數學……
教授：Good. 你有什麼問題要問嗎?
學生：我有一些問題。一般博士要讀幾年?
教授：看情況。我覺得你2年到2年半就行了。
學生：(有點驚奇)這麼短?
教授：因為你的研究生已經讀了3年，而且做過很多研究，第一年要學習，第二年……
學生：還有一個問題，您覺得我被錄取和拿獎的機會如何?
教授：###***%%%(大概是說要一起研究決定，而且表示充分理解中國學生需要經濟資助。)
教授：你申請了幾個學校?
學生：還有***，****和Berkeley。
教授：好學校。我畢業於Berkeley。
學生：我知道，但你們學校是我的首選之一。我相信您能理解我的這種情況。
教授：我理解。
學生：我們實驗室曾經有人在您那裡學習。
教授：(很有興趣)誰?
學生：###，###，###。
教授：Oh. (好像是說這幾個人他知道)
教授：Any other question?
學生：No, thanks. You can contact me via e-mail.
教授：OK. (要說再見)
學生：(笑)I am a little nervous now.
教授：(笑)再見。
