中考英語不規則動詞表
1.以-o結尾的名詞，變複數
(1)加s，如：photo-photos piano-pianos radio-radios zoo-zoos kilo-kilos
(2)加es，如：potato-potatoes tomato-tomatoes Negro-Negroes hero-heroes
歌訣記憶：黑人(Negro)和英雄(hero)愛吃西紅柿(tomato)和馬鈴薯(potato)。除了這四個以-o結尾的'名詞加-es外，其餘的以-o結尾的名詞加-s。
2.表示國家的名詞變複數
Chinese-Chinese Japanese-Japanese Englishman-Englishmen
Frenchman-Frenchmen German-Germans Russian-Russians Indian-Indians
Canadian-Canadians American-Americans
歌訣記憶：中(Chinese)日(Japanese)不變，英(Englishman)法(Frenchman)變，其餘後面(如German等)加s。
3.以複數形式出現的名詞
scissors剪刀 goods貨物 trousers/pants/shorts褲子 clothes衣服
glasses眼鏡
4.以s結尾，仍為單數的名詞
(1)maths，politics，physics等學科名詞，為不可數名詞，是單數。
(2)news是不可數名詞。
(3)the United States，the United Nations應視為單數。
5.由man和woman構成的合成名詞，兩個構成部分都要變成複數
如：man worker-men workers(男工人)
